Before partition of subcontinent Poonch was a princely state comprised of whole District Poonch which was divided  into  two in 1947 in the result of liberation struggle by locals . The liberated part of erstwhile  District Poonch was given the status of District In State of Azad Jammu and Kashmir . (Here you will place the location ).

I, Mumtaz kazmi feel pleasure to be first deputy commissioner in Azad Kashmir who  thought of information disbursement to the habitants of District Poonch specifically and commonly for the  diaspora and people live in Pakistan . It will lead to affective feedback and public participation in the District affairs . We would disseminate our information to the users of internet.

Existing infrastructure and so many tourist spots it has vast scope of tourism in Azad Kashmir . It's diaspora contributes in the economy of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir . In this context I , Mumtaz kazmi  having been appointed as DC Poonch felt the need to keep the habitants of the state ,diaspora and the world very  well  informed through information technology.
